A beautiful soul lived here And though I find it hard I will try to place down in verse How I remember her She wrote eloquently The kind of words that touched hearts and changed lives She inspired gently A quiet manner of rousing others to actionShe spoke thoughtfully The kind of meaningful conversation that is remembered long after it’s over She chuckled joyfully The kind of love that comes from the heart and spreads to the belly
She acted kindly Thinking of ways to help family, friends and strangers She moved with grace Whether planting trees, teaching, cooking, playing tennis or simply walking She built a legacy A chain of words and actions that will have an impact on future generations She lived wondrously Blessed with a humble and beautiful soul Allah yarhamuha (May Allah have mercy on her)
They say a picture is worth a thousand words.
